Justin “JJ” Johnson
Founder & project lead, Merci Group
I’m Justin Johnson. Most people call me JJ.
I’ve always wanted to create something of my own. Going against the grain comes naturally to me, sometimes a little too naturally.
In high school, that creativity found a home in Mrs. Soto’s digital design class. My working life later took me into sales, marketing and leadership. MERCI brings those experiences together. In a lot of ways, this is a full-circle venture.
I love taking someone’s idea seriously and helping them see what it could become. The character of their business, the care behind their work, the details they don’t want overlooked. That’s where the design begins.
When you work with MERCI, you work directly with me. I’m here to understand what you’re building, explain the decisions, and deliver work I’m proud to stand behind.

Before we begin
What will my project include?
Your proposal defines the pages, copy, media, forms, editing tools and integrations included in the project. It also sets out what you’ll provide and what Merci will create.
How do feedback and changes work?
Review stages and revision allowances are agreed in advance. If the scope changes, we discuss the effect on cost and timing before additional work begins.
What happens at handover and after launch?
We define hosting, account access, editing, documentation and applicable ownership or licensing arrangements in your proposal. Any ongoing care and future changes are scoped separately.
